Below are 2 of the same gloved hand. The left was modified – big difference – eh?

Using Soldier Story’s gloved hands …..

With a needle nose pliers, carefully insert the needle into each finger. Make sure the finger is straight. Prior to that if the fingers are all molded together – you gotta split them by carefully cutting each digit apart.

Dependent on the vinyl – some softer ones will allow the needle to go quite easily in. I got some tough ones that drove me up the wall. The key is patience here. Sometimes the needle will poke thru to the outside, just pull em back and do it again……..

Wat a difference – before and after…..

Once all the needles are in – then the excess are removed using cutting pliers. Then the filed using a needle file to remove the sharp edge.

Tada ……  the fingers could now bend to shape the different poses of the hand.

For gripping gloved hands – normally i would insert the needle in the index finger and thumb – it provides a tighter grip to the weapon….

Below are gloved hands that i modified. Each hand would take no more than 20 minutes.

3 gloved hands with 1 right hand and 2 lefts.

All the hands came with the wrist peg on the right, good for dml bodies but for my modern figs i am using Hot Toy’s, so i had them replaced with HT’s wrist pegs. Fits perfectly.

This second left gloved hand was the main objective i got these set of gloved hands – this hand would be perfect for the gripping the fore grip for my M4.

I removed the blue with acetone paint thinner.

Here the fridge magnet … before i took it apart

The rack came off quite easily…

The bottles were secured using silicon hot glue …. so no damages on the bottles. Whew!

The only setback would be the clear yellow bottles – partly the air bubbles are HUGE and visible and the color kinda suck…. gonna repaint these buggers…..

Here’s the size compared to a Hot Toy hand – the bottle looks 1/6 eh?
