There is a spot in my house that i dedicated for “painting tasks”

Its corner right next to a window which allows plenty of ventilation needed during airbrushing and dealing with solvents. I got all my painting equipment and tools organized around this place…. I paint all my stuff here, from 1/6th headsculpt to 1/35th AFVs. Got Ron Volstad’s illustration pinned on the wall – source of inspiration

Here’s a quick look at my favourite tools used for my 1/6th customizing.
Most of these tools have been with me for years (ever since i got hooked to buiding model kits). Some are bought from local hardware stores, model kit store, art store, accidentally removed from office
and some i don’t even know how i got it!!! A few cost a bomb, luckily most are rather cheap… what’s really important is it does the job!
These tools are mainly used during the construction phase, i cover painting tools in later posts
Underlined are the most used and cant-do-without items.
From left to right :
Single Edge Razor Blade, Surgical Blade, Scapel, Disecting tool 1 (arrow tip), Disecting tool 2 (needle tip), file 1 (needle), file 2 (flat), file 3 (triangular), file 4 (i dunno how to describe
), steel ruler
